I have hand woven this handsome traditional check pattern sofa throw in evergreen and yellow wool. It’s the colors of afternoon sun streaming through pine woods. The twill hand weave gives it a nice drape and the wool a cozy warmth. The fringed edge is hand hemstitched while on the loom for a secure and decorative finish.

It measures 34 1/2" x 76" (88cm x 193cm) including fringe.
100% wool
It may be handwashed in cold water and dried flat.

Description:

This table runner is handwoven in a traditional Swedish block weave called halvrall (half huck.) I’ve loved how the colors and weave structure work together to give such variety to the blocks.

This design is reversible. I have hand hemstitched the ends at the loom and twisted and knotted the fringe for a decorative finish.

Description:

I have handwoven this towel in a Dogwood pattern made up of traditional lace blocks. The ends have a line of lace units for a touch of border. With the heathery pink cotton yarn it has a nice texture but soft hand. Perfect for drying dishes, pretty enough for the guest bath.

As with all my towels, these are machine wash and dryable. They have been prewashed in hot water and machined dried after they come off the loom. We weavers call this "fulling." The hems are double machine stitched for years of use.
